Lark Washington is the new Chief Operating Officer at Maggie Walker Community Land Trust and a Senior Associate for HDAdvisors. In her Maggie Walker CLT role, she leads the implementation of the strategic plan and fund development. In her role with HDAdvisors, she works as a consultant that specializes in housing and community development studies and implementation plans for nonprofits as well as local and state governments.
Lark has previously worked at Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and PlanRVA. Lark has also co-founded, directed, and served on the board of the recently dissolved nonprofit, RVA26 Mutual Aid. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia.
