Following his graduation from Christopher Newport University, Jamie committed a year of volunteer services to the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corp program, based in Vinton, Iowa. First with Homeward as the Community Outreach Program Coordinator and then with HandsOn Greater Richmond as a Corporate and Special Events Manager.

He now manages grants and nonprofit partnerships in Richmond, VA for Capital One. Jamie spends a decent amount of spare time entertaining his 5 year old daughter and volunteers for the Virginia Governor's Appointed Board of Volunteer and Service, Next Up's Advisory Committee, and Co-Chair of the Central Virginia Funders Network. Jamie was recently accepted into VCU's Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs for a certificate program in urban planning with an emphasis on sustainability.
