Chief Operating Officer

Lark Washington is the Chief Operating Officer at The Maggie Walker Community Land Trust. She leads the implementation of the strategic plan and fund development. She also provides support in acquisition and construction/rehab development that includes a pipeline of over 200 properties. Lark has previously worked at Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and PlanRVA. Lark has also co-founded, directed, and served on the board of the now dissolved nonprofit, RVA26 Mutual Aid. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia.
